The power went out this morning at home! I wondered what had happened. I thought the bitch turned our power off again but I was wrong! She didn’t do it this time, which is good! We will report her if she does it again and thanks to our hidden cameras (installed since the last time she turned off our power) she will be caught red handed if she does something stupid again at our house.
Anyway, my husband called Excel Energy and they said that the power would be restored by 6:00 PM. I decided to go to Park Meadows Mall instead of staying home doing nothing. What could I do with no computer and no television? We came home at 6:30 PM but the power was still out! Both hubby and I were so pissed!
My husband called Excel Energy again and asked them when the power would be restored. The guy on the phone told him it would be restored tomorrow morning! Hubby and I can’t stay in our house without TV, computer, lights and air conditioning! It wouldn’t be easy, especially with our baby.
My husband decided to make reservations at a hotel near us. He called the Marriott which is close to our house and across the street from where he works, close to Park Meadows. I was shocked because the rate was $180 for just one night! Huhhhh?!!! I keep nagging to my husband, why did he book the room?! To me, it’s too expensive and I’m sure we could find a cheaper hotel or I could have had asked Lizel to let us stay at their house for just one night! My husband told me to let it go because he already booked the room.
When we checked in, the receptionist saw our baby Von and she was so fond of him and upgraded us to a suite for the same price! I was so happy when I heard it because it was worth paying $180 bucks for a suite. As a bonus, they gave us a crib for Von. I guess Von is our lucky charm! hehehe
