A small touching story mainly for professionals

A man came home from work late, tired and irritated, to find his 5-year old son waiting for him at the door.

SON: 'Daddy, may I ask you a question?'
DAD: 'Yeah sure, what it is?' replied the man.
SON: 'Daddy, how much do you make an hour?'
DAD: 'That's none of your business. Why do you ask such a thing?' the man said angrily.
SON: 'I just want to know.. Please tell me, how much do you make an hour?'
DAD: 'If you must know, I make $20.00 an hour.'
SON: 'Oh,' the little boy replied, with his head down.
SON: 'Daddy, may I please borrow $10.00 ?'

The father was furious,

DAD : 'If the only reason you asked that is so you can borrow some money to buy a silly toy or some other nonsense, then you march yourself straight to your room and go to bed. Think about why you are being so selfish. I work hard everyday for such this childish behavior.'

The little boy quietly went to his room and shut the door. The man sat down and started to get even angrier about the little boy's questions. How dare he ask such questions only to get some money?
After about an hour or so, the man had calmed down, and started to think: Maybe there was something he really needed to buy with that $10.00 and he really didn't ask for money very often. The man went to the door of the little boy's room and opened the door.

DAD : 'Are you asleep, son?' He asked.
SON : 'No daddy, I'm awake,' replied the boy.
DAD : 'I've been thinking, maybe I was too hard on you earlier' said the man. 'It's been a long day and I took out my aggravation on you. Here's the $10.00 you asked for.'

The little boy sat straight up, smiling.

SON : 'Oh, thank you daddy!' He yelled.

Then, reaching under his pillow he pulled out some crumpled up bills. The man saw that the boy already had money, started to get angry again. The little boy slowly counted out his money, and then looked up at his father.

DAD : 'Why do you want more money if you already have some?' the father grumbled.
SON : 'Because I didn't have enough, but now I do,' the little boy replied.
SON: 'Daddy, I have $20.00 now. Can I buy an hour of your time? Please come home early tomorrow. I would like to have dinner with you.'

The father was crushed. He put his arms around his little son, and he begged for his forgiveness. It's just a short reminder to all of you working so hard in life. We should not let time slip through our fingers without having spent some time with those who really matter to us, those close to our hearts. Do remember to share that $20.00 worth of your time with someone you love.If we die tomorrow, the company that we are working for could easily replace us in a matter of days. But the family & friends we leave behind will feel the loss for the rest of their lives. And come to think of it, we pour ourselves more into work than to our family.

Finally I gave birth!

Wow, it has been a long time since you've heard from me huh?! Sorry!!! I am too lazy to update plus Google doesn’t recognized my blog and my PR has been stuck at one. I am sometimes discouraged to make an update. Plus, I am a busy mom now and I have to take care of my "piglet" first before doing some other things. If I have free time I would rather sleep while my baby is also sleeping! Hehheheh
I gave birth on March 27, 2009 at 12:02 AM. I never thought I would end up with a c-section. I was pushing for a total of about two hours but my baby was facing up which is the reason he wouldn’t come out, no matter how hard I pushed! I gave it all my strength but he wouldn't budge which is why the doctor said a c-section would probably be necessary. I was so exhausted already so I just nodded my head and said yes, no problem! My OB-GYN told me that it would just be another 15 minutes for the c-section.
They started it and I was wide awake while they did it and in just a few minutes I heard my baby cry! I cried too!!! Finally, he is out! Thank-you Lord that he is healthy which is what we have always prayed!
Ugh! I was in pain the next day! We stayed at Skyridge Medical Center for five days and they told us we could stay for another day but hubby and I couldn't wait to come home. There’s no place like home! Though, the service at Skyridge Medical Center is awesome! We had a different nurse every day and they always check on you and take good care of you! They are there to provide everything you need and they are always ready! I definitely recommend Skyridge Medical Center if you plan to give birth. Also, every meal was free for me and I could order anything I wanted on the menu! Surprisingly, the food was really good! If I could only stay for a month I would as long as I get my free meals but my husband was ready to go home and couldn't wait to be home again!
I had some complications during my surgery. The doctor cut my bladder but she repaired it immediately afterward. I just hope and pray that everything is okay and I will heal very soon! Wish me luck!
