I got out of bed at 1:00 P.M. today. I was still sleepy but I heard the thunder and I was scared. Von was sleeping well, in his crib, but I had to wake him up and take him downstairs. I told my husband about it and he was asking me why I had to wake Von up. I told him that I was afraid of the possibility of tornados (knock on wood). Von and I would be closer to a safer hiding place downstairs. I was just not comfortable sleeping knowing that there was a storm. I was planning to call my husband at work and ask him to come home but I didn’t want him to drive when there was lightning outside. It was not safe for him either. I was just praying and hoping that everything would be okay and that we would be safe from any harm. Thank God, the storm went away!!!

Vacation
